Effective Solutions for Projector Failures

At present, presentation equipments are frequently used in office, such as projectors, laser pointers and white boards, etc. Unfortunately, projectors seem the most fragile part of the equipments. Here are two effective solutions for common projector failures.

Projectors can not display clear image or complete images. Sometimes, it may happen to your projector even if the links with with power and computers prove normal and the projector bulbs work well as well as its cooling fans. The projector and computer inner malfunctions could be ignored for the projector parts and computer work normal. It's probable that there are problems on signal links and computer setting.

To solve this problem, press on F7 button and LCD/CRT button at the same time of the laptop (if your projector is linked to it) to activate the outside video port of laptops. If it still does nor work, adjust display resolution of computers into that of projector ranges as well as width and height proportion of projector picture frames. Caused by high computer output resolution, projector may display only parts of images, when computer output resolution could be lowered down and the projector may be back to normal. If it still does not works with those efforts, it's suggested to send the projector maintenance center.

A projector may suddenly shut off during working process and could not be re-set up within half an hour, and then it would turn normal again after that. When it happens several times, the projector may be in heat protection state. Generally, a projector is equipped with a temperature sensor which can protect the projector from heat damages by cutting off power automatically when the equipment temperature inside break the arranged bottom line.

To solve this problem, it's better to check if the cool fans work well. If the fans are fine, check the air intaking strainer whether it is blocked by dusts or not. Then uninstall the strainer and clear the dusts away and reinstall it to check if projector is back to normal. Professional repairs will be in need if the failure remains with those instructions.
